The Insolence Watches You, shortened name Insolence, is a Ice Dodo Mapmaker, Music Producer, Pixel Artist and Cup Owner.

Joining Onionfist[]

Insolence joined the Onionfist Discord Server on the 15th of October 2021 (and rejoining a further 2 times on multiple accounts throughout 2022 and 2023). He named himself The Insolence Watches You due to his love of the Roblox game Piggy, where the Insolence is one of the main antagonists of the franchise. Insolence does not play Roblox anymore.

In early 2019, Insolence had learned to produce music, so in 2023 he decided to use his talent for Ice Dodo. His music has been successful in-game, being the placeholder for cup, mapmaking, tournament and even the main menu soundtracks.

Insolence is of Australian and Italian descent. He is 18 years old and lives in Australia.

Insolence has created multiple maps and has collaborated with multiple mapmakers in the Onionfist Community.

  • Lost After Dark - Difficulty 2 (a horror map originally made by Insolence and was resubmitted as Forest Trail).
  • Mineshaft - Difficulty 5 (a collab with MooshMM, was resubmitted as a collab again with MooshMM and with TimTam, Path to Paradise).
  • Portalantis - Difficulty 7 (originally approved but later rejected by Catfishpie, made by Insolence and was resubmitted as Ready Player 2).
  • Ready Player 2 - Difficulty 7 (a sequel to Ready Player 1 by June, originally made as a collab by Insolence and Darrk 77, and was resubmitted as a collab with Wienerdog, Portaltropolis).
  • INSOLENCE - Difficulty 7 (the planned finale to his scrapped lore series, which was negatively received and soon rejected by Insolence. It was a collab with Darrk 77 and bestspacebot).
  • Deimos - Difficulty 7 (originally a Megacollab with 9 Mapmakers, but was rejected and resubmitted as Insolence's part, also called Deimos).

Insolence received his own cup, Insolence Cup, on the 17th of November 2023. It is a Community Cup with 18 maps. He was given the permission to have a cup due to his multiple efforts and contributions to the Onionfist Community.

Insolence has confirmed that Deimos will be his last map before he retires from mapmaking. He has also confirmed that once he has 12 maps approved, he will slowly retire from Onionfist Studio entirely. This has been achieved (with a 13th map, Orange Juice Federation, being added as the map was resubmitted by another Onionfist member and was originally a collab).

However, he mentioned that he may decide to make more maps in the distant future, depending on his studies at University.

Other Work[]

Insolence has made several pixel art for Ice Dodo. His work includes the old and new Rytai Cup, the new Bean Cup, Zhou Cup, Modded Cup, Ultrahard Cup and his own Insolence Cup. He also made a sprite for the game DODODO.io, that was approved but never added.

Insolence also composed 5 music pieces for Ice Dodo. 3 were approved and added in-game, whilst the 4th and 5th were composed as jokes.
