Insolence Cup is the 26th (33rd chronologically) cup in Ice Dodo.

Creation[]

Insolence Cup was introduced to Ice Dodo on the 17th of November 2023, along with Dark Cup and Modded Cup.

The Cup is presented by The Insolence Watches You, a Mapmaker, Pixel Artist and Music Producer for Ice Dodo. He has been in the Onionfist Community since October 2021. He was given the permission to have a cup due to his multiple efforts and contributions to the Onionfist Community.

There is one confirmed map coming to Insolence Cup, but is not yet added. This map is U_Main_Three by DonW15. It was meant to be added in the most recent update but missed out due to mapfile issues.

Fun Facts[]

Some of the maps in Insolence Cup were originally in Golden Cup, but were moved to this cup due to Insolence Cup not having enough maps.
A four-part lore series by The Insolence Watches You was going to be made in the cup, but was scrapped due to the finale map, dubbed INSOLENCE, being rejected. The other three maps go as follows: Abandoned Warehouse, Warehouse Maintenance and Sewer Survival. As of INSOLENCE's rejection, these maps have been slightly altered, with Abandoned Warehouse and Warehouse Maintenance being a two-part series, and Sewer Survival being an independent map.
The soundtrack played in Insolence Cup is Uprise, by EnV, which is surprising as The Insolence Watches You is a Music Producer himself and has produced music for multiple cups.
The Insolence Watches You has confirmed that Deimos will be his final map before he fully retires from mapmaking.
The Harvest, by Painkiller, was originally in Insolence Cup before it was moved to PainBumpo Cup.
Mapmaker Brimstone may have most of his future maps in the cup.

Cup Art[]

Green Side — Original skin design the current cup skin is based off of, created by rocky707.

Insolence Cup art was made by The Insolence Watches You himself. It consists of a Ninja Star in blue and grey tones. The art was actually taken from a cup design by rocky707, although it was never used by him or any other mapmakers. There were also two proposed cup designs that didn't make the cut. The first one was a sword with blood dripping from it, made by The Insolence Watches You, although, it was too unique compared to all the other cups and was scrapped. The second design was made by a mapmaker called Maple. It's a basic design with similar colours to the current skin. This was used without The Insolence Watches You's knowledge and permission, and was in-game for around 6 hours before it was changed to the current skin.
