As of now, the Dark cup is one of the newest cups added to the game, along with Insolence Cup and Modded Cup, added on 17 Nov 2023. Made by Darrk_77, it contains 21 maps, all of which are of difficulty 5 and up, and it shows up as "Dark Cup" in-game. You may find several Undertale/Deltarune inspired maps in the cup, seeing as Darrk is a huge fan of the games. Beating all 21 maps rewards you with the Dark Cup skin, a greyscale vortex-looking thing, as an homage to Achromatopsia, Darrk_77's first submitted map.

Dark Cup is the second-hardest cup in the game, after Ultrahard Cup, clocking in with an average difficulty of 6.33. Blame Darrk for this as he is physically incapable of making easy maps, and aims to make the average Ice Dodo player's experience akin to a day in hell.
He even placed his most of his maps in June Cup (before being elligible for a Creator Cup) so that his classmates couldn't get the skin. His easiest map, Minimalist Desert, was a difficulty 3 before being rejected to due to "being boring".
When it was first added, there were a few typos. The in-game description read "Maps made by Daark_77" along with a few other minor mistakes. Moreover, Darrk's newest maps were met with wonderful feedback and requests to vault.
The Extra Virgin Olive Oil Complex, by Darrk_77, was moved to Vault Cup almost immediately after being added to the game because people found it too confusing.
Smart Not Nerd Fan Club currently holds the record for most name changes. It has gone through thirteen names, before ultimately being changed to Smart Not Nerd Fan Club after a suggestion was made to honour the famed mapmaker.
Before the cup requirement was increased to twenty maps, Darrk had originally proposed a cup skin with purple-pink colours. This was too similar to Zhou Cup's skin, which was newly added at the time, and it was subsequently discarded. Asfhgsfhkj, Darrk's classmate, also made an interesting dark-purple cup skin. This was going to be used but it was deleted during the nuke and the current greyscale skin was used instead.
Dark Cup is the first Creator Cup to be added under the 20 map requirement. Moosh Cup and Awehero Cup were Dark Cup's predecessors and the cup requirement was subsequently raised from 15 maps to 20.
